Easy Cookie Recipes for Santa

Make Santa’s next visit to your home the sweetest one yet with freshly baked, homemade cookies. This delicious treat paired with a nice, tall glass of milk is one of the most enjoyable snack combinations among adults and children alike, so there’s no doubt Santa will love them too!

Cookies are not only easy to make, but a fun activity to enjoy with your family, especially during the holiday season. Here are a few cookie recipes Santa will enjoy eating and your kiddies will enjoy making

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Their crisp edges, chewy middles and irresistible taste of chocolaty goodness with every bite makes this cookie one of the most popular selections there is!

What you’ll need:

  • ½ cup of butter
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

What you’ll do:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Microwave the butter for 40 seconds or until its completely melted.
  3. Mix your melted butter and sugars in a large bowl. This can be a fun step for your kids to participate in!
  4. Add your flour, baking soda and salt.
  5. Here’s something else your little ones can help with! Mix the dough until it’s completely combined, it should be soft and a little sticky.
  6. Stir in your chocolate chips.
  7. Spoon out 1.5 tablespoons of dough and place them about 2 inches apart from one another on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake them for 7-10 minutes, or until cookies are set.
  9. Place them on a cooling rack

Sugar Cookies:

This soft, buttery cookie topped with frosting and sprinkles is simple to create and makes the perfect dessert for any and every holiday.

What you’ll need:

  • 6 cups of flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 cup of softened butter
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

What you’ll do:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and line your pans with bakery paper.
  2. Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder in a large bowl and mix the ingredients together.
  3. Add butter, sour cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour and mix until ingredients are combined.
  4. Your little bakers can help mold the cookies by taking 2 tablespoon of dough and rolling them into a smooth, round ball then placing them onto the baking sheets.
  5. Flatten the dough using the bottom of a glass cup dipped in water.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes and place on a cooling rack.
  7. Once the cookies are cooled, cover them in your favorite frosting followed by sprinkles and they’re ready for Santa

Peanut Butter Cookies

Satisfy your sweet tooth with these butter rich cookies packed with peanut butter flavor.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg

What you’ll do:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and stir them until they’re smooth.
  3. Line your pan with baking sheets.
  4. Take small pieces of dough and roll them into one-inch balls with your hands. Then press them flat using a fork.
  5. Put them in the oven and let them bake for about 12 minutes.
  6. Wait 2 minutes before placing them on a cooling rack.
